We are currently recruiting for an Activity Coordinator to work within a care home caring for people living with Dementia, this role is part time working 15 hours per week, 3 days out of 7 per week.
The day to day role includes but is not limited to the following;
- To plan and organise activities within a care home
- To engage residents in activities, both one to one and group
- To access activities for residents outside of the care home
- To access and arrange for community based groups to visit the home
- To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
- To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals care notes
- To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
- To contribute to the Homes newsletter
- To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home
Please note, this role also includes working some weekends and evenings
