An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the Waste & Resources team at Bedford Borough Council. We are currently seeking an apprentice to provide technical administration and business support to ensure services are effectively delivered within the department.

The role requires the ability to thrive under pressure, using initiative to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met. To be successful in the role the candidate must have a keen desire to learn and develop their skills. The key skills of the role are organisational, resilience, communication, proactivity, and attention to detail.

In order to apply for an apprenticeship, you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years on the first day of the apprenticeship (this includes EEA for UK or EEA Nationals with pre-settled or Settled Status) or have some other residency eligibility status. Please see Annex A of the latest employer funding rules: Apprenticeship funding rules - GOV.UK  for a full list of residency categories and locations.

Closing date 1st March 2024 - Interviews to be held 12th March 2024.
