Job Advert

The Adult Services Contact Team is a front door service for Bedford Borough Council Adult Social Care.

 


We are inviting applications from qualified social workers who are registered with Social Work England and with a minimum of 1 years post qualifying experience in a Social Work role.

 

The role will be generic and will involve working in collaboration with a range of service users and their carers, using a Strength based approach to asses their needs in accordance with the principles of the Care Act 2014 and other key areas of legislation on a daily basis.

 

You must be able to manage a busy work load and thrive in this type of environment. We are looking for applicants who are committed to delivering the optimum outcome for service users and their carers in fresh, imaginative and personalised ways within the ethos of strength based practice.

 

Regular supervision will be provided in accordance with the departmental supervision policy and you will benefit from working for a authority which is fully committed to ongoing training and career progression.
