Bedford Borough Children's Services is on an ambitious improvement journey and is seeking two organised and motivated Quality Assurance Officers to help strengthen quality assurance management oversight and continuous improvement.

 

Working within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Team you will coordinate and support the delivery of the quality assurance programme ensuring audits moderation activities and improvement actions are completed consistently and on time.

 

You will coordinate audits and moderation activity maintain accurate records monitor progress against actions analyse findings and produce reports that support managers and senior leaders to evaluate practice and drive improvement. You will also contribute to preparation for Ofsted monitoring and other external scrutiny.

 

This role offers the opportunity to help shape and develop a growing quality assurance function that plays a key role in improving outcomes for children and families. We are looking for someone with strong organisational analytical and communication skills experience of working in a quality assurance performance governance or business support environment and the ability to manage competing priorities. You should be confident producing reports analysing information and building effective working relationships across services. Knowledge of Children's Services safeguarding practice is essential.

 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
