We are currently seeking an experienced Manager for Traffic Operations to join Bedford Borough Council on a permanent basis.

On a day to day basis, the successful applicant will be required to manage the Streetworks, Parking, Traffic Management and Rights of Way teams and develop and implement a traffic management service that is customer focused across all delivery channels both internal and external to the organisation.

They will be required to deliver the Councils statutory traffic management, road safety and rights of way obligations, while also developing, implementing and improving all aspects of traffic signal control, Urban Traffic Management and Control (UTMC).

To provide effective leadership and direction to deliver exceptional Traffic Management and Parking services, to support the Boroughs vision and objectives is a key element of this role.
