Job Advert

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Services Finance Team for a Financial Analyst on a one year fixed contract.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic finance professional to join our team.

Full or part time hours will be considered for the right candidate, based on preference.

In this role, you will primarily focus on supporting the grant return process, but you will also assist the management accountant with a variety of ad hoc finance tasks, year end processes, and monthly financial monitoring. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with financial and non financial stakeholders to resolve queries and provide support in delivering key finance functions for Children's Services.

We are looking for candidates who are AAT Level 4 qualified or have an equivalent level accounting qualification or are working towards it. While previous experience in a similar finance role within local government is desirable, it is not essential. You must be able to work at pace, manage multiple priorities effectively, and demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

For an informal discussion, please contact Lin Liu on 01234 276094 or Doris Mutegi on 01234 276527

Benefits Package:

Employees will benefit from a generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days. The role offers flexible working hours and location, with the option to work from home or in the office, depending on business needs.
