Job Advert

We are looking to recruit a part time Community Support Worker for our Physical Disability Team. Reporting to the Advanced Practitioner, the successful post holder will be responsible for providing services to vulnerable people of Bedford Borough who require assessment for care packages. You will be required to demonstrate a good level of academic achievement with GCSE English, or equivalent.

 

You will have experience of working in the community with adults with a disability, have knowledge of disability and awareness of the barriers that individuals may face within the community, a good level of communication skills, verbal and written and ability to write clear and concise records on the client database.

 

You will also have experience or demonstrate ability to working as part of team ensure that the health and wellbeing of working age people are paramount to service delivery and help to deliver excellent services to the residents of Bedford Borough.
