Job Advert

The Libraries Hub provides support to Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire Libraries. Your role will be to provide a friendly and efficient delivery service to the 17 libraries in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire. The post is based at Borough Hall in Bedford.

 

You will represent the Libraries Hub so good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You must be flexible and able to handle a wide variety of tasks. You will need to hold a clean and current driving licence and must be able to lift and move boxes of books.

 

The role is to provide cover for when drivers are on leave or off sick, so you may be called upon at short notice. There are no set hours, but the working day is usually about 7 hours.
