Job Advert

We are currently recruiting for Activity Coordinator to join our team. This role will work 28 Hours across 5 shifts based at Highfield residential home.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with previous experience to join a team who is focused on provided the very best care and support possible.

 

On a day to day basis you will complete duties such as:  

  • To plan and organise activities within a care home
  • To engage residents in activities, both one to one and in groups
  • To access activities for residents outside of the care home
  • To access and arrange for community-based groups to visit the home
  • To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
  • To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals Daily Journal’s
  • To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
  • To contribute to the Homes newsletter
  • To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate forward thinking and initiative to create a fun packed timetable for all to enjoy and offer flexibility in their work pattern.
