We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager for Adult Social Care Finances to join our Adult Services Directorate.

 

The Manager for Adult Social Care Finance provides overall leadership and technical expertise for the financial assessment service. Leading a team consisting of several different roles the manager has responsibility for the continued development, providing oversight of systems and processes, ensuring people receive timely advice and guidance about adult social care charges and accurate charging invoices. 

 

For this role we are looking for an enthusiastic leader with a strong working knowledge of the adult social care charging regulations, someone who has a keen eye for continuous improvement and who will have responsibility for key areas within the services for financial assessment, provider invoicing and payments, brokerage, direct payments and financial protection.

 

Pivotal to this position is an essential link to the wider adult social care teams to ensure seamless services to meet our statutory responsibilities through interdepartmental working, understanding of key legislative requirements whilst maintaining relationships as well as promoting communication channels with providers and partners.
