We are currently recruiting for Higher Level Sessional Workers to join our team on a permanent, relief basis.
Sessional workers support children & families in need of services on a casual basis. Good availability is essential to meet the needs of a growing service operating seven days a week.
Qualifications in working with children and families are not required, thought would be an advantage. Aptitude to work on your own initiative is essential.
You will need to be assertive, resilient and have the ability to maintain boundaries and be ready to attend training to build your experience and knowledge of working with families.
Use of a car and ability to drive within and out of Borough is essential, as is the ability to work flexible hours to include some early starts and late evenings and one weekend day.
We offer an induction programme with supervision & an appraisal. We have excellent in house training and development opportunities to gain a wide variety of skills and experiences in a busy and thriving environment.
Existing ambitious post holders have used their sessional work experiences to successfully progress their career aspirations.
