Job Advert

Bedford Borough Council are looking to recruit 2 Experienced Social Workers to the Adult Social contact Team. These are full time posts, 37 hours per week.
The team provides a front door service to our Learning Disability, Older people and Physical Disability Teams.

 

Applicants should have a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

 

The key duties of this role are
. To support the Advance Practitioners with the operational management of the team
. To carry a workload of high complexity cases working with a degree of autonomy
. To coach/mentor less experienced staff in the team
. To work within relevant current legislation (Care Act 2014) and the procedural framework of Bedford Borough Council
. To work collaboratively with service users, carers and their families to assess needs and plan and deliver services in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and other legislations applicable to Adult Services.
