Job Advert

Bedford Borough Council has an exciting opportunity within Human Resources for an Employee Relations Adviser.

 

You will be a proactive HR practitioner who has a proven record of supporting and enabling Managers.

 


If you can demonstrate strong problem solving skills with an ability to support and coach Managers we would like to hear from you.


You will work closely with the HR Business Partners in the provision of an effective, professional and customer focused employee relations service that promotes a positive work environment. The ER team advise services across the Council, schools and other external clients.

 


The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, whilst providing advice consistent with organisational policies, employment legislation and good practice. Considerable experience of managing a diverse and complex case load across all aspects of employee relations is essential.

 

Closing Date:  4th October 2024
