Job Advert

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated, close knit team committed to transforming the educational outcomes of some of the most vulnerable children in our community; those in care, previously looked after, or living with the support of a social worker.

Together, we work with passion and determination to ensure that every child, no matter their circumstances, has the chance to thrive through access to high quality education.

In this role, you will make a real difference by working directly with schools, foster carers, and social workers, helping to remove barriers to learning and creating pathways for success.

We are seeking candidates with experience of collaborating with Designated Teachers and other professionals supporting children facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, whether in education or social care settings. You will play a key role in Personal Education Plan meetings, championing the voice and needs of the child.

The successful candidate will demonstrate not only a clear understanding of how to drive improvement in attainment for looked after children, but also the confidence to offer expert advice, practical strategies, and encouragement to colleagues.

A strong grasp of school target setting processes, combined with excellent communication skills across a range of professionals, both face to face and through written and digital platforms, is essential.
