Bedford Borough Council are currently recruiting for Civil Enforcement Officers to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Civil Enforcement Officer you will ensure effective enforcement of parking regulations within on street areas of the Borough and car parks.

You will be the public face of the Council promoting good relations with the community and representing the organisation professionally at all times.

School Enforcement is a key part of the service. Patrols are carried out at various schools sites morning and afternoons every day.

Additional Details: 

The shift pattern will include one week of early shifts and the following week of late shifts as below, working 5 days out of 7 per week, with one hour for lunch to including weekend and bank holiday working; 

Early Shift - 06:45 to 15:09 

Late Shift - 10:45 to 19:09

A full uniform and PPE is supplied including footwear.
Once training is completed you will be assigned to a different area of the town to patrol during your shift.
