A vacancy has arisen for a suitably registered and experienced Building Control Inspector to join our friendly team of inspectors.
Your case load will involve an interesting mix of domestic, industrial and commercial projects. Bedford also has a few high risk buildings that could provide excellent opportunities to develop your practical experience and skills.
You will be a full member of the RICS, CABE or equivalent, with a degree or equivalent and have considerable recent experience working as an operational Building Control Inspector within a Building Control Unit. Registered, or working toward Registration with the Building Safety Regulator. Level 2 Domestic Grade 11. 39,186 to 42,403, or Level 2 General Grade 12. 43,421 to 48,474.
Along with strong communication skills, you will have an extensive knowledge of building control regulations and understanding of building operations on all types of buildings within your level of registration.

You will be required to complete a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions.
