Jobs Connect (formerly known as The Jobs Hub) has recently secured DWP funding to deliver the Connect to Work programme to eligible residents in Bedford. We are now looking to recruit experienced Employment Project Officer who is passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives and contributing to a more inclusive, skilled local workforce.

On a day-to-day basis, you will manage a caseload of participants, with multiple barriers to employment, including physical and mental health disabilities, special educational needs, or those from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will be helping participants to secure or maintain employment that aligns with their preferences and enhances their sense of wellbeing and dignity. Your approach will be person-centred and holistic, whilst also focusing on addressing employer needs to ensure the programme’s success.

You will provide effective motivation, personal development and pastoral support to help clients progress on their employment journey. This will be done through the delivery of high-quality Supported Employment in line with the IPS Grow and Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models. Training will be given for this.

Posts will be extended subject to funding.

The Hospital Social Work Team are looking for an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to support a very busy team.

Previous hospital experience is preferred but not essential, we are looking for someone that enjoys fast paced work, is passionate about delivering a first class service to the residents of Bedford Borough.

You must possess excellent communication skills and be capable of supporting the team to ensure a first class service is provided at all times.

We are currently seeking a Reablement Support Worker to join our successful, motivated and committed team.

Within this role, you will make a great step in a long lasting career and make a difference to people's lives.

This role will allow you to work in a caring and supportive role with adults who live in their own home, help them to become independent with all aspects of daily living, in a supportive, experienced and motivated team.


The successful candidate will be provided with mandatory training, support and guidance from our committed, motivated, energetic and professional team coordinators. You will receive supervision, appraisal and comprehensive induction.

In this role you will need to travel between service users homes within a given timescale. You will need a current UK driving licence and access to a car.


The role provides hands on personal care to service users . You must be able to carry out physical care tasks. Manual Handling training experience preferred but training will be given.
Reablement promotes a culture of independence and has a strong teamwork ethic.

The service runs between 07.30 and 22.00, 365 days a year.
