We are seeking a highly organised and compassionate Care Home Administrator to support the smooth and efficient operation of Parkside care home.

You will play a key role in providing administrative support to the management team, ensuring accurate record keeping, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.

The Care Home Administrator is often the first point of contact for the home and will help create a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment while ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Bedford Borough Council is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Closing date: 24th September 2026
Interview date: 5th October 2025.

Bedford Borough Council is looking for a caring and confident person able to work with Social Workers and Carers on behalf of clients who do not have capacity to manage their own financial affairs and are in receipt of Money Management Services from the Council.

You will be managing their financial affairs either through appointeeship or deputyship, acting in the best interests of the customers at all times. Reconciling bank accounts, paying bills and ensuring that the correct benefits are claimed. You will need to be organised with the ability to work within legal guidelines and at all levels.

You must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

You will be required to complete a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions.
